The BBQ E-Boat Experience – Step by Step

1. Check-In & Welcome

Get to the Port Denarau Marina 10 minutes before departure, our friendly staff are there to welcome you, check you in, and provide a brief safety briefing.

2. Be the Skipper

One guest gets to be the “Guest Skipper”, and with a skipper hat to help with photo opportunities. You learn how to operate the boat, no license required!

3. Set Sail & Grill

Once you’re out on the water, it’s time to fire up the BBQ. Every boat comes with a barbecue equipped with a charcoal grill (pre-lit for your convenience), utensils, and an ice bucket to keep the drinks cold.

4. Cruise & Play

While your food is on, you can also play games onboard, like handline fishing, Bula Karaoke, and BBQ Mini Wheel! These are all great for families or groups to do while you’re cruising along.

5. Take it All In

Glide across the calm waters of Denarau while taking in the amazing sights and snapping all the scenic photos you want. Enjoy some laughs with your crew and embrace the slow and easy pace of Island Time.

6. Safe & Easy Return

After three hours of cruising in comfort and safety, the boat returns to the marina. Our staff will be there to assist with the docking process.

Booking Information & Important Notes

• Early Bookings – Boat trips are extremely popular! We recommend you book your trip no less than 24 hours ahead.
• Arrive Early – We recommend checking in 10 minutes early so you have time to board. If you arrive late, we’re unable to provide you with a refund.
• What to Bring – Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, lightweight clothing, flip-flops, and a camera!
• Food & Drinks – You can BYO food & drinks (includes alcohol). There is limited space on board, so only bring what you’ll need.
• Facilities – There is no toilet on board. Please be sure to use the marina facilities before you depart.
• Children – Children are welcome on board but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Weather Policy – We may need to reschedule or cancel your cruise if weather conditions make it unsafe.

Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required upon booking.
• Prices are in FJD and are inclusive of taxes.
• Confirmed bookings will not be issued until payment and written confirmation are received.

Cancellations & Refunds

• More than 48 hours before the cruise? Full refund.
• Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the cruise? 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours or a no-show? No refund.
• Operator cancels due to weather/safety? Full refund, or reschedule if guests prefer.

Self-Drive Rules

• Guest Skipper (18+ years old with valid identification) must sign a waiver of liability.
• No licenses or prior experience are needed. Safety induction will be delivered before departure.
• Crew assisting their guests as skippers will need to sign an acknowledgment form.

Conduct and Safety

• All guests are expected to conduct themselves responsibly and safely follow the rules laid out to them regarding safety and cruise expectations.
• If any guest is too intoxicated or is conducting themselves in an unsafe manner, the operator has the right to end the cruise, and guests will not receive any refund.
• No illegal substances, hazardous materials, or glass items will be allowed on a FarerFiji vessel.

Operator Rights

• FarerFiji has the right to modify, delay, or cancel cruises due to operational or weather-related reasons.
• If operating on alternate vessels is necessary, that will take place.

Media Use

Photos and/or videos may be taken by the operator as promotional material unless, before the cruise, the guests inform them that they do not want photos or videos taken of them.

Jurisdiction

The laws of the Republic of Fiji govern this agreement.
